2009
Harvest
We are now closed for the season 2009. We
want to thank each of you who bought grapes from us this year. We
hope to have another nice crop in 2010, and look forward to seeing you
again! Check back here around the middle of August 2010 for
details on our upcoming harvest.
Thank
you.

Visiting our
Virginia Vineyards
You and your family are invited to visit our vineyards, learn how
grapes are grown, and share in the harvest. Wenger Grape Farms is
located in the Shenandoah Valley 1½ miles from I-64 on Route
340 South between Waynesboro and Stuarts Draft, Virginia. The majority
of our grapes are the Concord and Niagara varieties. We also have a few
of the Mars, Delaware, and Moore Red varieties. We supply grapes to
local grocery stores, fruit stands, and wineries. Grapes are available
at the farm house for customers who would like to pick their own (PYO),
or choose from our selection of already picked grapes. Directions to
the farm are here.
Harvest generally runs from early September, for 2 to 3 weeks. During
our harvest, we are open from 8 AM
until dark, Monday through Saturday.
NOTICE: Closed
Sundays
Purchasing Concord
and Niagara Grapes
Grapes can be
purchased in a number of ways, depending on your needs:
Both our Niagara
and Concord grapes are very popular in Virginia for
eating. You may have also tasted our grapes in some of
Virginia's finest wines, as we supply grapes to a number of Virginia
wineries.
